Volunteer OpportunitiesFurniture DeliveryMake a Saturday a great day for a low-income family in Alexandria. Each week, drivers and volunteers are needed to help deliver much needed
houseware
items and furniture. Family Emergency ProgramHelp process requests, pack food, or deliver food for this important ALIVE! program. In the morning (9:00 a.m.Noon), volunteers process requests for food and
financial assistance. Volunteers are needed beginning at noon (for about 2 hours) to deliver food to
recipients. Unloading Food for Last Saturday Food DistributionThis is a great Friday workout with time for dinner and drinks afterward. Volunteers help
unload food from the ALIVE! truck at Cora Kelly Recreation Center in preparation for the
Last Saturday Food Distribution. Hand trucks are provided. Last Saturday Food DistributionVolunteers are needed to help bag and distribute nonperishable food and fresh produce to low-income
families at one of three locations in Alexandria: Cora Kelly Recreational Center (25 West Reed Avenue);
