As we monitor the progression of coronavirus in our region and evaluate the status of our operations, we place the safety of our volunteers, staff and clients first. We advise everyone to follow common-sense safety protocols issued by our government leaders. We will be sending out information and staying in touch with city officials as the COVID-19 situation emerges. We continue to operate as normal, but anticipate that at some point we may advise volunteers to stay home and close programs. We are doing our best to ensure food supplies are adequate and are increasing deliveries to our regular drop off sites while we are able. Donations to support our food reserves are critically important at this time, as we are sending out everything to our regular clients to help them prepare while we are still able to do so. We are also coordinating with the city and increasing our reserves to support the city should they need to deliver food to people under quarantine who do not have adequate food reserves at home. DONATE NOW to help us purchase additional food. A donation of $20 supports one family for about 1 week. To reduce chances for the spread of the virus, we will not be collecting food donations at this time.
