The Office of Housing provides housing counseling services for persons seeking affordable rental and accessible housing in the City. CURRENT AVAILABILITY

  • NEW!  The Platform, a new rental community located at 1100 N. Fayette Street, Alexandria is accepting applications for four affordable rental units. For more information, visit: platformalexandria.com, or contact: platformVAleasing@graystar.com or 703-952-9267.  The community features: in-unit washer/dryers; on-site amenities, open spaces, and parking; and controlled access. The rent for the income-restricted 1-bedroom, 1 bath is $1,326; the rent for the income-restricted 2-bedroom, 2 bath is $1,586. Water, sewer, and electricity are paid by residents and are based on usage. Trash is $15/month. The following fees also apply:

    • $50 application / adult

    • $500 security deposit

    • Parking: 1st car $50; 2nd car $225; Reserved car or electric vehicle: $250

    • Pet Fee $500 for 1st pet; $200 for 2nd pet; $50 pet rent per pet (2 max)
