Planned Closures and Winter Holiday Schedule
Upcoming closures and holiday schedule for ALIVE!
Last Saturday Food Distribution events for December will take place on the 3rd Saturday due to upcoming holidays. The December food distribution will take place on 17th.
All ALIVE! offices and programs will be closed on December 23rd and December 24th as well as December 30th, December 31st, and January 2nd.
Volunteers Needed
Each month, more than 220 volunteers pitch in at ALIVE! events packing and sorting food donations, distributing food at pop-ups, assisting clients at the Food Hub, and so much more!
Our organization wouldn’t be able to meet the need in our community without the dedicated service of volunteers every month. If you know someone who is looking for a way to lend a hand and help our neighbors in need please encourage them to sign up online.
We are especially in need of volunteers for our furniture program on Saturdays. Volunteers follow an ALIVE! truck to help pick up and deliver donated furniture. For more information please contact Xiomara at xhernandez@alive-inc.org.
End of Year Giving
We thank your continued support in the mission of ALIVE! – please help share our work with your friends and family.
Thousands of Alexandrians still come to us each month needing assistance with food, emergency financial aid, eviction prevention, transitional housing, and basic furniture and housewares. The work that ALIVE! does to alleviate the effects of poverty and hunger is as necessary as it has ever been.
ALIVE!’s continued ability to provide a safety net for struggling Alexandrians is dependent on the generosity of its supporters. We rely on your support to be able to be there for those who reach out to us. Thank you!
