Inova Cares Clinic for Families is offering free flu shots for uninsured people throughout November, while supplies last. Appointments are required. The Alexandria Health Department (AHD) reminds residents with Medicaid or private insurance that flu shots are available at doctors’ offices and pharmacies (including many in grocery stores). For those without insurance, AHD and Neighborhood Health offer flu shots to eligible low-income residents based on income and other factors.
