The City’s Winter Shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The two locations are open 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily regardless of weather conditions. Learn more about the shelters and services and supports for those at risk for or experiencing homelessness.
- Lee Center (1108 Jefferson St.) is serving single adults
- Carpenter’s Shelter (5701 Duke St., Suite D) is serving families
If you encounter someone who is experiencing homelessness, share with them the above information or contact Alex 311 to report your observation. Department of Community and Human Services staff will go out to share support and resources as soon as possible.
